The Founder
It started with
a cat named Necessity.
I was twenty-one when Necessity arrived — a blue-eyed pointed Ragdoll who quietly rearranged my understanding of what a cat could be. Gentle, devoted, almost dog-like in her attachment. She set a standard that has shaped every kitten I've raised since.
By the time I founded Blossoms Ragdolls in 2005, I had spent thirty years training and coaching equestrians at the highest levels. Horses teach you to read structure, balance, and temperament before anything else — the same eye that selects a sound athlete is the eye that selects a sound breeding cat.
Blossoms has always been a labor of love. We don't produce litters; we honor a breed.

We breed slowly, with intention. Each pairing is planned years in advance — for type, for temperament, for the depth of color and the unmistakable blue of a true pointed Ragdoll. There are no surprises here, and no shortcuts.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the breed's most serious inherited concern. Our kings and queens are screened so the kittens we place carry the lowest possible risk.
Veterinary Care
Complete records
Vaccinations, wellness exams, deworming, and a written health guarantee accompany every kitten as they leave for their new home.

Our breeding program is built on parent cats imported from three countries with the oldest, most respected Ragdoll lines in the world. Travelling internationally to select each cat is a part of what makes a Blossoms Ragdoll what it is.
